Due to the impending weather forecast for Saturday, January 23rd, we will CANCEL our Winter Indoor Session at the Administration Building.  With so many families and children involved, we need to err on the side of caution and have decided to cancel.  In light of the cancellation, we will extend the program to Saturday, February 20th.  We will follow the Week #3 schedule on February 20th.

Thank you in advance for your understanding.  Be safe, and enjoy the snow!

Dear ISC members,

We are pleased to announce some exciting news impacting our organization.  For the past few months, board members from Norwood Athletic Club and Interboro Soccer Club have been exploring the possibility of a merger.  We have carefully and thoughtfully weighed the pros and cons of merging and have come to the consensus that merging our two clubs would benefit everyone, especially our kids.

Listed below are a few of the benefits of this merger:

  • Increased number of soccer players for both the intramural and travel programs.

  • Interboro members can now take advantage of Norwood’s family discount program.  Family registrations are only accepted during winter membership drive.  Family registration opensJanuary 1st and all forms and payments are due on or before February 15th.  This type of registration allows all of your children to participate in all sports offered for the year, age permitting.

  • Increased overall quality of the soccer program through the availability of additional resources both on and off the field.  Licensed, experienced coaches and trainers who bring a wealth of knowledge along with them.

  • Increased player development opportunities at all age levels, including goalkeeper training.

  • Both organizations have a proven record of success.  Norwood’s intramural program has dominated the Chester Pike League.  Interboro Soccer had three travel teams win their division championship this fall – club history!

Beginning in January 2016, the two most prominent soccer programs in our area will merge to combine under one umbrella organization.  Interboro Soccer will come under Norwood Athletic Club, but will still keep their identity and name.  This merger will also allow the Athletic Club to offer more soccer programs.

  • January – February – indoor/winter soccer (Administration Building)

  • April – May – outdoor/spring intramurals (Norwood Park) – Sunday’s only

  • August – November – outdoor/fall intramurals and travel (Norwood Park)

As of January 1st, registration and information will be found at  All registration will be done online.  Feel free to go to the website, after January 1st, to set up your account.

The decision to merge came after much thought and consideration and ultimately was in the best interest of the kids playing soccer today and into the future.

As part of the merger, two of the ISC Board members will now join the NAC Board, John Sykes and Patty Butler.  John brings 30(+) years of coaching experience and soccer expertise to NAC.
